I haven't eaten at a Chik-Fil-A in years. I like to think of it as a pre-emptive boycott.

Not unless I'm ready for my wife to leave me. For lunch that is. It is by far her favorite fast food joint.

And quite frankly - the day that my children graduated from begging for McDonalds to begging for Chick-fil-A was a pretty good day.

I am. At least for a while.

And then maybe someday I'll go back to my usual habit of eating there oh, about twice a decade or so.

But in the middle of all of this, I'm curious how many of the franchise owners knew of the parent company CEO's stand on gay marriage, etc., when they were contemplating purchasing a restaurant. How many of them knew that this is where things could be headed for them?

All of them likely knew his position on gay marriage if they thought about it for one second. But why would they have? It was irrelevant. It should still be irrelevant. I still haven't seen a single link to anything Chick Fil A does that discriminates in any way.

Also, who is boycotting Amazon since their owner donates to causes that try to destroy traditional marriage?

He must be over the top if he wants to keep guys from marrying ladies. That isn't cool.

I'm getting peach shake tomorrow. I'm not making any kind of political statement -- have you had their peach shakes?

This a-hole decided it would be a great idea to film himself going through a Chic-Fil-A drive through and berating the Chic-Fil-A worker. His employer saw the video and promptly terminated him.

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I just looked up what Vante does and apparently it manufactures catheter equipment. There's a really solid joke somewhere here, but I'm going to have to give it some thought.

That free water cost a bit more than he was expecting. I like that he feels the need to stress that he isn't gay at the end of his rant. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Not a fan of that approach. The guy has the right idea but the wrong execution.

Beyond this horrid economy, did the government act in a way that made him lose his job?

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
