Apparently Chicfillets (whatevs) have been packed all over the place. There are two groups driving the one day increase -- the people against gay marriage and those who either support gay marriage or are ambivalent but find the actions of Rahm Emanuel and the Boston mayor to be deplorable -- I'm in the latter group, though admittedly I haven't gone to ChicFillet today (I don't have one close by).

That's it, I'm boycotting CUF. Contact me for a list of my demands. CUF will rue the day.....Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostBoycotts are almost always a bad idea. One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. "Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I wonder if a lot of conservative white folks rallied to support Woolworth's back during the Civil Rights movement when they refused to serve blacks in Memphis. Probably."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Maybe Chik-fil-a should be more welcoming to everyone but set up separate soda fountains so straight folks don't catch the gay.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostI wonder if a lot of conservative white folks rallied to support Woolworth's back during the Civil Rights movement when they refused to serve blacks in Memphis.
