Mia Love - Gaining National Recognition

I've been able to see her for the first time here in the arena. (I lucked out and got to be a delegate this year.) She is a rock star, full of charisma and seems to have lots of political talent. Can give a great speech. I'm not sure she could ever beat Sooner at Trivial Pursuit but she might get herself elected to Congress.

My ex-father-in-law was an ultraconservative congressman, but he was also a tremendous individual. His IQ was probably ~160, and he knew history and law incredibly well. I respect congressmen who could give me a run for my money at trivial pursuit. My ex-father-in-law never beat me, but he came close. He belonged in congress.

It's like Newt. Newt is crazy, but he belonged.

Mia is a tremendous individual in her own way, but she does not belong. She lacks the education and experience necessary to be anything more than a pawn of the party.

I will admit that a little part of me is proud for the tribe. But pawns are not good for the country.

She killed it. Getting lots of buzz for her speech and deservedly so. Sher Valenzuela was impressive too. And Janine Turner is hot.
