I know a woman who got around spousal privilege to get her husband falsely charged for fraud. Some people turn bat shit crazy and do outrageous things and tell some fat lies when they're getting divorced.

I thought for sure that had to be a fake Twitter account. But the article links to mediaite saying it has been confirmed his real account.

I wonder if some of the pro-gun people who supported him feel differently now. But then again, some of them probably feel the same way, given the length of the "share this!" Thread.

I'm not sure about this description as I was adamantly against Zimmerman (still feel a little bad about the beatdown I put on imanhonjin in this thread, tbh), but would consider myself pro gun (really just anti-murder ). Similarly I would be curious if those who supported him have changed their tune at all.

Yeah, I didn't mean to lump the crazies with more sensible people with my 'pro-gun' term. It just was the strident gun-rights advocates who propped up Zimmerman as some sort of hero.

I'm probably one who was viewed as a Zimmerman defender, though I kind of viewed myself more as a "we need more information before we rush to judgment" guy. But who knows.

I believe Zimmerman is a special kind of crazy, who had some issues to begin with - which have really blossomed under the pressure and stress that have been put on him.

I have no idea HOW racist he was prior to shooting Trayvon.

I have NO difficulty believing that he has become much more racist due to his experiences since.

He is not a man with a reasonable or sound mind, I get that. But since that experience, he's been painted as a cold-blooded killer by a huge segment of the Black population, including the president that he is now calling a baboon. Now - I get that he put himself into the situation by following Trayvon when he didn't need to and was told not to by the dispatcher.

But if you aren't even looking at his particular case and just at the vocal Black community response when there has been a much less controversial shooting - I could see how that would put him over the edge even further. If he didn't hate Black people to begin with, everything said about him and the threats made against him would EASILY put someone like him over the edge.
