I got pulled over Saturday for an expired registration. I was very courteous and even thanked him for what he does and thought police should be paid more.

Now I am wondering if he is part of the 15% that deserved my praise and if not I could have been pissed he gave me a ticket. He was an older policeman so I am thinking I now should have been pissed he gave me a ticket.

I think if cops have a good attitude it makes all the difference in the world. I got busted speeding once and the patrolman was so damned professional and courteous I almost found myself thanking him for the ticket. Other times I'm trying to subtly queue up the N.W.A.

A short time ago, like last week, he was under pressure to resign. He had fallen out of favor with the police unions and organizations including the Black police officers association. At least that's what I gathered from the local news.

I would have said that it is equally as easy to get a gun as a computer on the street. Other than that he was spot on.
