The truth about the global economy is that it really is cheaper to operate many businesses in other countries. Where does that leave the American worker? We need a president who is willing to fight for American Workers, even against the broader interests of big capital. That just isn't Mitt.
    Apparently it isn't Obama either.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Jon Huntsman Sr. is one of the most successful men in the world and has done an incredible amount of philanthropic work. But it seems as if every time I see an article quoting him or repeating an anecdote he comes off as petty.

I suppose you have an exclusive right to be petty? Your jealousy of Huntsman is almost as bad as your obsession with (unsuccefully) trying to one up UteStar.

          Poor form.

He has a myriad of good qualities. Like anyone else though I suppose he has a few faults.

Although he talks about all the "good will" he has in his business dealings and doing busines just by a handshake, I doubt it has been all that rosy. You don't get where he did without stepping on a few toes and creating a few hard feelings.

He was going to run for Governor a while back. From what I heard he decided he didn't want to go through the process of answering questions about some of his business dealings. I am not saying he did anything wrong, but people like he, Miller, Checketts, et. al. make some enemies along the way.

As if Newt wasn't in enough trouble - his fund raisers have quit

will he be the first to call it a campaign?

I may be small, but I'm slow.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

Why does Rick Perry remind me of the "I love the way your tits bounce when you type" guy in this article?

Romney with another hard hitting attack ad on Obama. Seems pretty effective:
                      [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-44o5Dn6V98&feature=player_embedded"]YouTube - ‪Obama Isn't Working: Allentown, PA‬‏[/nomedia]
He's not going for Mr. Nice Guy in the ads so far. And I think it's pretty smart. The "base" really wants someone to attack Obama.

Steel is cheaper to produce in China. So what is Romney's plan to save those American steel mill jobs? I guess we will have to wait until he is president to find out.

There is nothing more effective than using a candidate's words against him or her, especially when they can be proven to be the opposite of what he or she said would happen. GWH Bush's "read my lips; no new taxes" is a perfect example. As are pretty much everything Obama has said.

What's Mitt using against Obama in this ad? All that we hear Obama say is something like "It's nice to be back in Pennsylvania, I just talked to some workers at the Allentown Metal Works." So, the steel mill closed down, what does that have to do with the clip of Obama in the ad besides the fact that Obama happened to make an appearance at the mill at some point in time?
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

You really don't get the implication? All was well at Allentown Metalworks before Obama became president, then he became president and everybody started losing their job. I doubt most people will need the connection explained to them.
