knoxville is clearly the don: even the oldest, most replayed episodes of jackass remain hilarious to this day. knoxville is the main reason why jackass happened, and it (jackass) has spawned pretty funny spinoffs in viva la bam and wildboyz.

tom green has been a douche since day 1. the bum bum song was idiotic and never funny, and he quickly faded into coke addicted obscurity via his webcast. green relies on being an ass (putting dog crap on the microphone before interviewing people).

Johnny Knoxville is funny without being malevolent, and is a cool guy by all accounts and appearances. The Tom Green Show was the ish back in the day, but he lost me by playing the joke on me; I paid to see Freddy Got Fingered.

A Dirtbag is someone you wouldn't trust around your daughter. Pretty much all dirtbags are douchebags, but not all douchebags are dirtbags.

Dirtbag:

Jesse might be a dirtbag. I don't think he's a douchebag.

He's a cool dirtbag. The mainstream doesn't understand him. The dude hangs around with Hells Angels.

America doesn't understand how he could do that to Sandy... Hell, his previous wife was a vivid porn star... that's how.

He never claimed to be anything other than what he is. The fact that others perceive him different than they used to... doesn't seem to bother him too much.

I may not always admire what he does, but I do respect that he doesn't care what others think.

Majerus is the d-bag...some of the stories I've heard about how he treated his players at the u were sickening and inexcusable, IMO (none of them public, btw - all from former ute players in confidence).

Boylen can't coach to save his life and might be a little crazy, but he seems like a genuinely good guy. The Ron McBride of ute basketball - although McBride was a better recruiter.

Calling Boylen the Ron McBride of Ute basketball is a complete insult to Ron McBride and is completely inaccurate. Ron McBride actually took a awful Ute program and built it up. He was the 3rd best coach in the history of Ute football. Boylen destroyed the Ute program. He is the worst coach in modern Ute basketball. McBride was a better recruiter, better coach, and a better person.
