On the other hand, who in the primary stands to gain the most from voters defecting from Ron Paul? Clearly, it's Huntsman. Who has leaned the most towards Ron Paul's anti-war message in the last few debates? Who's been making dopey ads against Ron Paul.
To summarize, someone makes an oddball ad that holds strange prejudices and casts strange aspersions that have never been made before. Then they attack a candidate that is barely registering anything in the polls. The bad publicity of the ads clearly would hurt Paul while garnering sympathy and publicity for Huntsman. So, yeah, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if a Huntsman supporter made this ad. It would still surprise me if Huntsman's campaign was directly involved although some of the evidence points to that.
