Got it cut this morning. The breeze was actually cool, and it was cloudy, so it was almost enjoyable to cut it. The mornings are supposed to be great all weekend. I might actually get up at first light tomorrow and take care of a couple of projects I was waiting until October to do."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. I've had the AC off all day with the attic fan blowing. This is awesome."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

Yes, an odd cooling trend here in Chattanooga. I'm giving credit to Al Gore. Maybe we've put this global warming behind us.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostI've had the AC off all day with the attic fan blowing. This is awesome.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I enjoyed today. (INSIDE) I don't envy the men coming to re-roof my house on the morrow.Last edited by wuapinmon; 07-22-2011, 07:10 PM."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

Got back from Orange Beach on Saturday. It was hot there, but a great time. Chattanooga is still very tolerable. This weather has nothing on Tokyo in the summer time.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

Check your flashlight batteries, pick up yard debris, and make sure you've got plenty of bottled water. I hate this shit."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

We're far enough inland that I don't have much of a fear of hurricanes and tropical storms (probably not enough fear). We haven't been hit hard since Hugo in 1989, far before I was here. So for me, hurricanes mean much-needed rain!Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostCheck your flashlight batteries, pick up yard debris, and make sure you've got plenty of bottled water. Good luck wuap. Hope it pulls more out to sea and thus avoids you altogether. On the bright side, you might have church canceled on Sunday.Originally posted by wuapinmon View Post

Redirect that storm toward Texas. We'll take it. Anything is better than this 108 degree heat.Originally posted by wuapinmon View Post

I took my son to the pool today. The water was 92 degrees so it didn't seem to help much.Originally posted by Babs View PostThe news said you guys were still 100 at nine p.m. That's crazy.
Word is we're headed for roving blackouts again soon.
