    I'm discounting your view because you preemptively discounted everyone else's knowledge on the subject. Doesn't feel great, right? But while we're discussing, let's not pretend like your American viewpoint doesn't come with it's own biases, and that your present biases don't influence how you view what you saw and learned back then. You're not a bastion of objectivity on the topic just because you're not one of them.

        Dhole, I'm not as dumb as you think I am. I understand bias. I also have a feel about what folks on here know about South Africa since it's been discussed. His comment was dumb.

Though you should probably stop purporting to know what other people know about something just because you 'have a feel'. That is kind of dumb. But that doesn't make you dumb. (It does make you biased, though).

                Do you take others on this board to task for similar things or do you just like to concentrate on me? This sort of thing happens all the time here.

                It was a dumb comment and he hasn't backed it up at all.
