When I was a scout, we were on a hike in Yosemite. We happened on a couple of Park Rangers. One of them was a cute girl in a tank top, with hairy armpits. I had never seen that before, and for some reason I thought it was the sexiest thing I had ever seen.

This is more revealing than you know, I think.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Full disclosure: that was not the detail of Falafel's post I was referring to.I prefer my lesbians with less hair.

WTF are you talking about? Who said anything about his wife being a lesbian? I said he was driving the Suby.

I asked you to give me a rational argument for joining the GOP today since you want to third party this convo. I would love to hear your POV on what moral ground someone could stand on to support the current GOP over the DNC.

As for USUC, he loves to argue that the DNC forced people into voting for Trump because something something Hillary and Joe Biden and positions his opposition to the DNC based on some nebulous culture war stance and fiscal irresponsibility. We all are high volume political consumers, we all know those arguments are absolutely false. The only people puppeting those talking points are Steve Bannon, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham and we all know who they support. Just grow a sack and say, yeah I want to vote for Trump, he’s my guy, I, like a strong majority of conservatives want him as my standard bearer.

This needs to be crystal clear, it wasn’t a quip about your wife being a lesbian. You said I was a caricature, I responded by painting you as what I view as a caricature of a liberal in the NW.

Instead I should’ve just called you a SoyBoy.

I think a PEW shows 33 percent of Republicans support political violence. That's chilling but there has been a steady drumbeat about a civil war possibility. It's 13 percent for Democrats.
I think our country is screwed no matter who wins the election. I've seen the study you're talking about, and the question they asked was slanted to get more responses from crazy Republicans than crazy Democrats. They asked "because things have gotten so far off track, true American patriots may have to resort to violence in order to save our country." Of COURSE the crazy GOP will respond to a line about "true American patriots." And it wouldn't be shocking that fewer Democrats would respond to that loaded question.

But don't minimize the number on the left who also believe that violence is justified to meet political goals.

Just this past summer a survey by UChicago found that around 12 million Americans thought that force was justified to put Trump back in office due to their belief in a "stolen" election. But there were also 22 million on the left who thought that force was justified to restore Roe v Wade. The reality is that America is a bit of a tinderbox right now with way too many people on both ends of the spectrum who seem to believe that some form of force is justified to meet their political goals. And that's scary, for sure. But it isn't a Republican thing. It's a USA thing.

I think USUC is def not a Trump guy. As far as the blame the DNC stuff. I find it really tired and not very valid. Hillary didn't win the primary because she cheated. She had establishment backing because she was the establishment candidate. Bernie is officially even a democrat. That trope got bullhorned and weaponized. No way in hell would Bernie have won.

Additionally, in no way does conservatives being dissatisfied with democrat candidates explain or justify supporting and electing such an objectively repugnant person like trump. He tried to overthrow our Republic and he isn't done.

He is a GOP created monster and that party is responsible.
