Biological males in female sport is something the vast majority of people oppose. Anyone with a daughter in sports has a stake. Everyone said it wouldn't have a real impact. Then we had the trans swimmer win an NCAA title. Then a biological male beat up a bunch of women to win a olympic gold medal. Now we have lots of college volleyball teams forfeiting games with SJSU because they have a biological male on their team that is dominating.

Again, nobody is arguing it is the top issue. But stop kidding yourself that it isn't a big deal.

I just think from a real policy perspective I wouldn't waste too much energy at the federal level. Most of the issues that impact folks' lives are local/state issues and need to be solved there.

I just think the issue highlights that the left can't be trusted because they will take us all off the rails on their crazy train.

By the way, analysts are saying that Trump ad that ran non-stop at the end saying "Kamala is for they/them. Trump is for you." was incredibly effective. In case you missed it, it contained multiple sound bites of Harris promising to provide sex-change surgery to transgender prison inmates.

I saw something where it said Trump was the middle finger from the right to the left, I thought that about summed it up.

Case in point-they both lost to Donald Trump. Hillary let it slip away but Mamala actually ran a good campaign but was crushed. Democrats made a lot of mistakes and President Biden screwed them over bigly, but Harris was an awful candidate.

The reality is real biological girls are losing athletic competitions to real biological boys and you want to take offense to the questionable reference. In the real world to those concerned about this issue they think the misgendering of the boxer is a mote compared to the beams of the SJSU volleyball player and Lia Thomas.

Donald Trump knew this and he exploited it well-much to the chagrin of the faculty lounge.

Walter Mondale lost in maybe the biggest landslide in history. Terrible candidate.
George B McClellan promised to surrender to the confederacy if elected.
Woodrow Wilson was a horrible president

I can accept McGovern. Mondale was running against not only a great candidate but a great sitting President. Fair point on McClellan-the U has Teddy Bundy and West Point had GBM. Wilson was a much better candidate than HRC and Mamala.

I think Trump was bad. He might have had some evil genius in him, but he was a poor candidate and a poor POTUS, IMO. It took a special kind of poor candidate to lose to him and in Mamala's case-get crushed.

The point on sjsu is no one thought twicr on her until it came out so if theres some grand advantage how did no one notice

I didn't find that report, only that 'XY' chromosome was 'leaked'.

Just for some nuance, a phenotypic female could have undescended testicles and have an XY complement, but have reduced or absent enzyme activity that would decrease male characteristics. I'm only stating this in case people read your 'testicles' and thinks a simple medical exam could have solved all the controversy. Unless of course that's the case, which would then be one huge shitshow for the international boxing committee.
