Where did he say, "I want to be dictator."
Trump says all kinds of reprehensible things. He's not going to be dictator.
sure, he probably cant .
the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said he is someone the country needs protecting from and is a wanna be dicator. you seem to be saying he is wrong.

In a democracy those in power or striving to get power should be called out for saying reprehensible things. But we shouldn't because it's inflammatory or offensive to those who worship him like a God?Originally posted by SeattleUte View Post

Only one side should tone down the rhetoric because Trump is who he is. Same kind of argument that says we should allow Putin to run roughshod over Europe because standing up to the destabilizing disrupting force he is might cause war. I'm sick of such bullshit.

He didn't exactly say that even taking what you posted at face value and without context. I trust CNN as much as I do Fox (and watch neither).Originally posted by Maximus View Post

If your point is that it would be better to not have a president who wishes he could be dictator I agree with you. But I would not be surprised if others have wished that secretly or that they all do.
But it's not possible for him to become dictator.

I don't think in this epoch any presidential election is an existential threat to us. Claims that it is are in bad faith and irresponsible. Propaganda.Originally posted by BlueK View Post

Even if he does, will anyone on the left believe him? Will anyone in his own party follow his recommendations? I think it is doubtful on both fronts.Originally posted by frank ryan View PostIf I'm Trump, I switch my campaign rhetoric up to a more unifying, less militant tone. You are such a pompous ass."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Being unifying isn't something Trump does. Only one side is expected or implored to be civil. The other gets a pass because Trump will be Trump and the Alex Jones types who are now basically mainstream in the conservative movement don't operate that way.either. It's their whole point not to.Originally posted by The_Tick View Post

Confidence in the government is going to reach an all time low… this was a major screw up and the experts are all confirming it.
Even to the point experts are wondering if the SS snipers’ hesitation was intentional… (“stand down” order was given)
Hillary really messed up this one.
