I was wrong about Taysom Hill and his future in the NFL while he was playing QB for BYU. Even comparing him to the QB of my local high school team, which understandably, upset many sensibilities. In retrospect, it was wrong to compare Taysom to a future Heisman Trophy winner, #1 draft pick, and current starting QB in the NFL.“Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. I clarified my remarks to include future potential. I also specifically mentioned passing skills - that Kyler Murray as a junior QB in high school was a better passer than Taysom Hill as a junior QB for BYU...and I was correct.
