Not to mention USPS workers and Congress and their staff. It's time for Biden to correct these mistakes and holes in the mandate!

Please take your anti-biden stuff out of this thread. This thread is for exhibiting some self awareness.

    Thank you.

I was wrong in cooking many damn fine racks of ribs, so many pork butts, and hiding the fact that every single step, from the homemade dry rub to the cook times, to the foil crutch, came from the Diner. So, sorry, Dude. My kids' BBQ snobbery does not come from my skill, but from this board's collective genius. (Seriously. They will not eat restaurant BBQ. Memphis BBQ ribs were rejected by my daughter.)

I was also wrong in believing I could pick scores for BYU game. Winning by 8 is not winning by 40.

Man, here goes Ted again, sliding over the edge of sanity.

Covid. I thought it would go the way of SARS and MERS.

Me too. Last week of February 2020 I predicted to a colleague that in November we'd be like 'hey do you remember when everyone was in a panic about the coronavirus?' That's used against me a lot.

Same. My partner, who in fairness is pretty pessimistic about life, famously told us in our business meeting that we wouldn't be out of the woods for at least 2 years. I scoffed at that. I honestly thought it would have been largely contained in China, and the scattered cases in the US would be locked down sufficiently. I was thinking summer 2020 tops would be the end of the epidemic in the US.

Good thing I'm not a betting man.

In all fairness - we might have been able to knock this out quickly if we could have gotten everyone on the same side quickly with both masks and vaccinations. It seems right now everyone has gone the Doris Day routes and quit caring for their personal safety.
