Dang, I wish I could remember what Wesbury said on interest rates last week. I will ask a couple of the guys that were at the meeting with me.

Of course saying interest rates are going up can mean a lot of different things. Are we talking about fed. funds, ten year treasury, mortgage rates, corporate rates, hi-yield bonds, etc. They don't all go up and down together.

Follow the thread gramps, I am building a house so my guess is my interest is in mortage rates. Sheesh!

You might want to take a look at who started the thread. There are a lot of people on here interested in more than your little small world.

Even given that, I will see if Wesbury said anything that affects your need.

Just enter into an interest-rate forward contract. I have no doubt you have the capital in place to get JPMorgan to give you such a contract.

I am looking to build as well. I have a lot I have been eyeing now for about 2 years that is still on the market.

I was looking to have my house built by the end of this year or start building next year (March of 2011). But I am getting worried the market is going to shift up.. Which may cause me to move early..

            Thanks
