In California, most of the litter pick up is by DUI violators who are doing community service. A young friend delights in driving past such work crews and shouting, "Where's your bottle?"

So, was DDD talking about California when he stated that?

If they're really out there, good. They need to do more. Lots more.

Actually, I am not sure if they do that in Utah. I know Arizona does it (one sheriff makes them wear bright pink outfits....lol!) and California sends out people all the time....often the youth detention kids. Nothing like an Saturday morning drive along the freeway and seeing a bunch of lowly motivated kids picking up trash along the offramp.

The point is I want you to stop being so negative towards your local prisoners. That is no way to treat your fellow Utes!

I'm firmly in the anti-death penalty camp.

I'm a little surprised at this (not sure why) and would love to hear your reasons - mostly to see if they match up with mine, as I'm also firmly in the anti-death penalty camp.
