Just from what this little snippet article states that seems to be the direction of this Bill. I hope it becomes available so I can view what it has for small business, in a way to ease their burdens. I would also support tax breaks for us in some way (The middle class)... Give us some money to ease our burdens..

Overall. I guess this will just infuriate more people that the elected officials are once again not listening to the people..

Note: The unemployment extension is a good thing along with extension to subsidies for healthcare coverage for those out of work.

I am starting to like the idea of tax dollars going to support local government hiring. I am encouraging my kids to go into government careers. I like the idea of my taxes going to my kids.

Yep.. I am not selfish enough to see this massive spending as a good thing for me. In fact. Unlike the federal govt, us local/state folks have taken several pay cuts etc to ensure we stay within our budget. I have gotten no increase over the past 2 years, and also have to take 4 weeks of unpaid leave over the next 2 years as well. Plus my medical benefits have gone up.. It only seems fair they (The Feds) be expected to do the same...

If you think I am going to let what I do for a living shape my beliefs. or my opinion Sorry, but you are wrong...

Well it undercuts your moral authority on this issue. IMHO

How so? If anything, if I was really all about me I would be happy with the way the money is being spent. The fact I see massive spending as an issue (Knowing this cold impact my job if they made cuts) as a public employee has no bearing on my opinion..

I am sorry you didn't pick the right branch of gov't to work for.

I may be small, but I'm slow.
