I might be mistaken on this, but all of the models mentioned in this article that have problems are made in the US with only a minority of the parts (mainly the transmission) made in Japan. The Japanese/Asian made models the 4Runner, Landcruiser, Scions and (I believe) Yaris aren't having issues. I've never bought an American made Toyota, but specifically looked for and bought a model made in Japan. I believe the light pickups are still made overseas, no?Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”Comment
