Before I waste a lot of time on Indy's post, perhaps you should tell Palin that the Chinese recently made it snow.

I understood the context of her statement. It is ridiculous in any context.

The debate over climate change isn't whether it is happening or not, it is a debate over the extent man has on influencing the change.

I will say that I definitely believe that man polluting the air is bad for us, but I don't neccessarily believe that man is causing change in weather systems. That is just too much considering the history of climate change on earth. Be good stewards, don't pollute the earth, respect nature. I just hate the tactics of global warming.

The republicans stake their flag in the ground, the democrats stake theirs, and pretty soon the underlying issue is no longer relevant -- it's all about protecting that stake in the ground.
