7.73 last night, all walking 1:43

I may be small, but I'm slow.

I have been riding in th emornings. I was leaving at 6, and then pushed iot to 6:15 and now leave about 6:25 so that it is light enough to avoid being killed and avoid pulling out ,my lights. Days are shortening, but not our resolve.

Agreed. It's convenient, but not enough. I think we should just use triathlons as the guide, which makes it closer to 6-10:1 (running:swimming).

Inspired by creekster's call to arms (essentially, "Cyclists don't suck quite as bad as previously believed!"), Mrs. PAC and I are getting ready to head out on the road. Then we see nikuman, alone, has racked up 14+ miles this morning, sapping our will to compete. Nice run, though. Like Rhett Butler heading out to volunteer for the South after the burning of Atlanta, we shall nonetheless fight on.

I was feeling pretty fast today. I ran 8 in the park. It took me 1:00:35. My first mile was 8:10. My last mile was 7:05.

It takes me about 1:12-15 to swim 2 miles (which counts as 8). I can run 8 in 1:04 or less. But I suck at swimming so it seems fairly equivalent to me.

I don't know why people think I am fast when you are doing something like this. I can do the 8:10, but the 7:05 at the end? No thank you.

Wow, soup, that is pretty darn impressive! You are running faster than I am.

Faith and I did a morning run today because we have a party to attend tonight. I really needed more calories available, because the entire run was hell, and I called it quits before I had gone as far as I wanted.

59 miles. I finally got around to riding over to my parents' house.

Phew. I should have left the house earlier. The second half was hot.

Does anyone know Arch well enough to say whether he is really doing the kinds of numbers he is reporting? He is covering distances that are the equivalent (by our 1:4 ratio) of near marathons, several times each week. I find that hard to believe. Until vouched for, I think Arch is totally full of shit.
