Man. Pickleball looks boring. My wife's cousin is a really good pickleball player for Team Onix (5.0 rated player... 5.5 is highest). All he does is post pickleball stuff on facebook/insta. It doesn't look fun coming from someone who plays tennis 2x per week.

It does look boring. Especially the pros. They just dink it back and forth (which is not easy to do),but it’s deceptively fun. I actually agree with PAC on the name. It’s the key reason I wrote it off for so long, but it’s great fun.

Now, it may be a super fun sport (and it probably is!), but I already have a similar sport (tennis) that I'm pretty good at and I have no desire to learn some new net/racket sport.

Also, it looks like there is a pickleball restaurant opening in San Antonio this month. Yes. Chicken and Pickleball. Ha.

Yeah, it’s done really well in Kansas and they are branching out.

When you get old and your knees hurt and the young bucks kick your ass every set in tennis, then you’ll be ready for pickle ball and all it’s glory!!!!

best thing about pickleball is the small court. you don't have to run very much. my bro and sis in law had a court at their house since the mid 90s. been playing that game forever.

I was introduced to Pickleball the last time we went out to visit my finace's parents who spend the winter months at their Del Boca Vista condo out in Bradenton, FL. Once I got the hang of staying out of the kitchen on my own team's serve, it's fair to say I dominated. I'm probably one of the best Pickleball players in that 60+ retirement community. Definitely top 3 along with Frank and Birdy, a retiree couple from NY.

There are Pickleball courts all over St. George. Old folks love that sport. FTR I like to play it whenever I visit my folks in St. George.
