Once again one of the best things about CUF has been to see the progress people have made in this part of their life.Originally posted by FMCoug View PostHit the 30 lb mark. More importantly, I have had to put several new holes in my belt and yesterady I wore a pair of slacks that haven't seen the light of day in several years ... like 5 or so.

Way to go FM! Sometimes it takes a few tries before we're able to stick with it. Sounds like it's happened for you. Keep going.

That's great progress FM. My experience has been that it is very tough to get the first few pounds off; I diet and exercise for weeks without seeing much progress. But then when they finally start losing the weight, it becomes much easier and more steady. I hope that is your experience as well.

Good Work. Just keep on keeping on. I know I sound like a convert at times on this subject, but I am alway glad to see other people succeed.

Well I had hit a pretty good plateau / set point at 287 or so. Spent a week or so fluctuation between 285 and 290. This mornings weight? 282.
I was denied the extra life insurance at work due to my weight ... they said I had to get to 270 ... almost there.
FYI my goals is 100 lbs lost to get to 215. After that I'll likely set a new goal but 100 is a good round number."It's true that everything happens for a reason. Just remember that sometimes that reason is that you did something really, really, stupid."

Awesome. I'm assuming you are exercising then. Feel free to record your miles/time you slacker. You're sitting at 0 and I'm thinking that's not true.Originally posted by FMCoug View PostMore good news. Went to the doctor yesterd (have a sinus infection) and my BP was 110/72. I'm walking but not at a rate I'd consider qualified for RATT. Tendonitis kept flaring up when I pushed ... so I'm just doing longer at a slow pace.Originally posted by SteelBlue View PostAwesome. According some several things I've read - a mile is a mile as far as calories burned. I do mostly walking also, feel free to record any and all miles you travel.Originally posted by FMCoug View PostI'm walking but not at a rate I'd consider qualified for RATT. Record. As long as you are going longer than 15 minutes, the distances count.Originally posted by FMCoug View PostI'm walking but not at a rate I'd consider qualified for RATT.
