I like that bag, too. In fact, i'm in the market, as it were, and I'm tempted to order that one. The 14-way top and full length dividers are usually features for bags in the $130-150 range.

The ball flight is just piercing. The CG16s are slightly less rewarding, but definitely more forgiving. I was hitting 6 iron with both. Solid hits were flying around 175-180 with both clubs. However, the misses with the Ping were off line and between 10-15 yards short. The misses with the Cleveland held their line and were only about 7 yards short. The Pings are $699 and the Clevelands are $329 (15% off at Golfsmith plus free shipping this weekend!) though they are only 5-PW. Big price difference has me leaning towards the Clevelands.

I'm going to go hit the RBladez Tour this afternoon. However, unless they feel/perform unbelievably better than the CG16s, I'll probably end up buying the Clevelands.
What did you end up getting?

I play with Cleveland CG4s and love the way they hit.

Cleveland CG16 Tours. I love them. They are 5-7 yards longer than my old clubs and feel like butter when i hit them right. Nice high flight and they land soft. I am not lying when I say I backed up a 6-iron about 3 feet today from 180 out. Oh, and it was 119 degrees and the greens were pretty darn dry.

Unfortunately, there isn't an authorized Cleveland dealer locally who has the machine to bend them to fit my swing, so I'll probably have to ship them to Cleveland to get it done. The guy at Golf Galaxy said if he were bending them 1.5 degrees or less, he'd do it because he knows he wouldn't damage them. Unfortunately I need 3 degrees upright (the curse of a steep angle of attack and long arms, I suppose) and he says that's just too risky without Cleveland's proprietary machine.

I have a SunMountain bag and I've loved it.

Lightweight and a million pockets of different sizes which at the end of the day is all I want.

I purchased it after my mish and coincidentally I need a new one as this last trip did it in.

You walk or are you a cart man?

Hey DH let's to hit some balls at Callaway.

Just say when. My Cleveland Mashie 3-wood just arrived in the mail this afternoon, so I'm itching to swing it. How late is that place open, anyway? I haven't been there for at least 5 years.

In the past I have rode in a cart but I am thinking of starting to play a bit more and if I do plan on walking.

Is this deal as good as it seems. The putter is (4) years old but had new grips put on a month ago. The bag is two years old and the clubs have only been used for (1) round of par 3 golf, while never hitting the hybrids.

I don't know that much about Adams irons. But I know that I recently paid just over $300 for a brand new set of last year's Cleveland tour irons.

As for "only used once" I tend to be pretty skeptical about those claims. That more likely means "used for only one year." As far as I'm concerned, if you've driven it off the lot, the used markdown applies. I think it's disingenuous to claim they are new if they've been hit.

They are going for $225-$300 on Ebay. Not a bad if you are looking for a hybrid set. They were on the 2012 Golf Digest Hot List in the super game imporvement category. They are designed for the high handicapper. I'd see if you could go somewhere and hit them first before you buy.

I think I'm in the market for irons again. I bought Mizuno JPX-800s two season ago, but I only bought 6-AW because I like hybrids for the long irons. I've lost two irons since then. I've been meaning to replace them, but it was a pain in the butt after looking into it and since it's almost half my set, I decided I might just go with a new set.

I'm thinking of choosing between the Callaway X Hot and the TM Rocketbladez. Opinions?

How different are the Callaway Tour/Regular versions, ie X Hot vs X Hot Pro, X-22 vs X-22 Tour, etc? I don't need help getting the ball in the air, but I do need all the forgiveness I can get.

Made my decision. I am going to get the Cleveland 588 Altitude Irons. 4I-DW Retial $799 with Graphite shafts. I know they are ugly but I was creaming them in the simulator and they were all straight and launched high! Will be getting them in 2days. Anyone know where I can find them on the cheap?
( FYI I most likely wrote that incoherently and will be properly corrected forthwith. Thanks)

Is that like the orgasmatron as depicted in Sleeper?

                                Congrats on your new purchase.
