184 this morning. All diet, as I haven't even found time to go running since we started this. I have been trying to do 50 pushups, 50 tricep dips, and 50 crunches every night, but so far I've only managed every other night.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostWeight myself this weekend. Damn needle wouldn't hold still, but it was bouncing just north of 200. About 201 or 202. So I guess I'm shooting for low 190s.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

The diet part is what I always struggle with. I don't have problems getting motivated to work out, but I have a hell of a time trying to control my food intake. And really, above all, sweets.Originally posted by Donuthole View Post184 this morning. All diet, as I haven't even found time to go running since we started this. The sweets are always my problem too. I find that if I can go around two weeks without them, it's easier, but those two weeks are usually pretty hard for me. I started cutting out pretty much all sugar on January 15, and since then, I'm down five pounds. Once I start seeing results, it's easier for me to say no when I'm offered something sweet.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostAnd really, above all, sweets. Not that, sickos.

Well, I'm down 3 since the beginning of the month (this morning - 196) I want to get to 170 before I go see the Doc again.
As far a diet goes - if I don't write EVERYTHING down, I lose track of what I am eating and ...
I really don't have a problem with sweets any more (unless there are home made carmels around), but I do have a problem with munching on nuts.Last edited by happyone; 02-10-2011, 09:08 AM.
I may be small, but I'm slow.

Amen to that. Once I get momentum, I am unstoppable. Boxes of girl scout cookies are outside my office, half open and free to all takers, and have been there all week. And I have not even eaten one.Originally posted by thesaint258 View PostThe sweets are always my problem too.
