I don't know why a head start should matter. If anything, it just means you've lost all the "easy" weight. Heck, I was 210 three weeks ago.

176.6 today. I have already lost about 7-8 of the 10 that I wanted, so I'm not sure if I even want to lose 10 from where I am. Actually, I want to lose at least 10 lbs of fat and hopefully gain at least that much muscle over the next few months, so I guess that's my goal.

Gaining 10 lbs of muscle in a few months is a very ambitious goal.

I'm using a broad definition of a "few."

Hey, this thing is 8 weeks long. I wouldn't worry about it right now.

K, I need a weigh in before starting this thing, and I'm not sure where I'm going to do it. There's a scale at my gym, but I swear the thing is not right. Maybe they have another one somewhere that is more accurate. Next trip to the gym and I'll find out where I'm tipping the scales.

But seriously, it's one of those scales where the needle is kind of always bouncing so you don't get an accurate read.
