When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

When she left YO said he was going to make me an EC member, shows who's got the real clout here.

Why is it no one worries about the elderly being represented.

Every single time I go through airport security I loudly comment about the ageism that says people over 75 don't have to take off their shoes. No respect for old people anymore!

                PAC is on there.

Wasn't Beezelababette on the EC for a while?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Yeah, but, the possessive pronoun seeming to undermine your argument is pretty funny, given the subject. And, you didn't, so, it's really funny.

I thought that one statement was the funniest line from CS today.

Dude, I plan on living to 128, so "middle aged" fits me perfectly.

                        In no particular order...

Father's Blessings are cool. We always start ours with a prayer said by Mom; she's never expressed any interest in joining in the laying on on hands.

Depending on the ward we've lived in at the time, the ward pot luck's rankings can fluctuate drastically. We've had some awesome wards with some awesome cooks. We've had others where (if you're going) you want to get there early to see who brings what. Current ward has an annual HP Fish Fry that is cool. There are 5-6 guys who spend a lot of time fishing. They'll save tons of walleye, trout, salmon, and bass throughout the year and bring it all together for one big cook. Sure - it's been frozen, isn't all fresh, but it's good.

The Sacrament is cool. I know - it is done so frequently that it can seem commonplace and it's easy to go through the motions. But when I take the time to contemplate on my week, consider what went well and what I could do better at, and sincerely ask forgiveness for my mistakes...it's a cool experience.

The annual Primary Program is awesome. First - I love the songs. Or at least most of them. Simple messages sung sincerely can sometimes get my eyes to water...just a little. Then the kids themselves. Both those at the mic and those waiting their turn. I can't even describe it other than to say that once again there are often moments when my eyes are again watering (while I'm trying to not shake too much from laughter.)

I hate hometeaching. And I love hometeaching. I'm not a huge fan of calling to make a monthly appointment to share an Ensign article with someone. But I've got a guy I visit who I know needs me. He's in his early 50's, has had surgery on both knees and a shoulder, is seriously overweight, and has no kids around. While I'm not consistent on the monthly message, I've enjoyed the service aspects. Mowing the lawn when he couldn't due to surgery, helping shovel snow, repairing windblown shingles after a bad storm, trimming trees, and other basic yard work from time to time. Makes me feel great - and yet I would've never made the connection to him if I weren't "assigned".

Were any of these on the original list to rank? I don't remember.

He doesn't fit my definition of old. He is progressive to very progessive in his thinking. I mean an old white guy who the others roll their eyes when he speaks.
