Scouting is worse than the gay ban. I wish my stake still did church bball.

Hymns should be higher and WoW lower.

Nope, our stake stopped about 6 years ago after one of the bishops playing in a particularly chippy game got into a pushing match then yelled "Go fuck yourself" to what turned out to be an investigator from the ward they were playing. My wards game was supposed to be the next game but was canceled and the rest of the season and all subsequent seasons were called off.

Wow. Glad I got out before they purged Church ball, which is the only thing I really miss.

                I enjoy baby blessings.

It's a beautiful thing for a father to bring a child before a congregation and pronounce a blessing upon the child, supported and surrounded by those he loves, and those that love him. The only thing missing is the ice cream in the gym after church.

Yes, the baby blessing is very nice for the male participants and the female observers-from-a-distance.

Meh with all the problems there are with men around the world ignoring their obligations to their kids I don't think it's bad to have a symbolic ceremony just for the guys.

Do you ruminate on Mormonism that much? Didn't you see any movies this weekend you can post about?

Don't leave out the uninvited male observers-from-a-distance who aren't worthy enough to be in the circle.

                              They're people too!
