What has the HCO done to deserve the benefit of the doubt?

So, you also don't respect my opinion of giving Bishops the benefit of the doubt that they are sincerely doing what they feel is best for people in their congregations? I mean that is an opinion on LDS matters.

The list of topics that I respect your opinion on is:

      1. Craft beer on the Wasatch Front
      2. Family law in Utah
      3. Pokemon go
      4. Blackhawks hockey
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

This is exactly the kind of thoughtful, nuanced response that makes these HCO discussions so enlightening.

            • The vast majority of students involved in Honor Code cases remain fully enrolled in the university. On average, between 10 and 15 students are expelled from the university each year from a population of 33,000 students, although the number is lower in the past 12 months.

I hope this is true, I have my doubts the number is that low but I hope it is. I'm sure the number up here in Rexburg is much higher, it's to bad someone from Provo can't come up and tell them they are being real dicks about it.

The BYU-I HC office is currently doing the same review that BYU is doing, as they have received the same complaints in recent weeks. (Just not as public as the BYU stuff.)

I don't for a second believe you are honest in your posts. I think you take an extreme contrary position for all things BYU, LDS, and Jimmer. It undercuts any credibility you have when you actually make a valid point.

I think it’s pretty telling that pretty much anybody who has had any dealing with the honor code office has disdain for the whole operation. I don’t think it can be fixed. Certainly not with the same jokers running the show.

Jeez I hope not. That is one of the most poorly-designed HCO protest posters of all time.

You mean those that have dealt with hco that talk about it. I have no idea of the percentages- I would assume it is significant- but I imagine a lot deal with the hco without ever talking to anyone (other than maybe a bish) about it.
