I laugh every time I think of JD predicting an imminent Richard G. Scott apostasy."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

No doubt. He was called as MP when he was 38, and he's been a bishop. Not a stake pres., but certainly the Monson treatment bodes well for him.Originally posted by Bo Diddley View PostBKP's grandson, KBP, is an MP in Ukraine right now. Look for him in a few years."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

Don't forget, he posted the breaking news that it was both happening and not true all within a few hours...he definitely has his finger on the pulse of the church, no doubt about it.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostI laugh every time I think of JD predicting an imminent Richard G. Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Im guessing that the church's lawyers based in New York City were simply better negotiators than Richard g Scott's lawyers that flew to New York City. It probably became evident quickly that elder Scott would be breaking too many laws if he were to stop going to church so he decided to stay active and continue being an apostle.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostI laugh every time I think of JD predicting an imminent Richard G. I know a former goth that's now a bishop. It's funny to think that are probably at least a few of those out there.Originally posted by clackamascoug View PostDoes that mean my ex-goth/druggie SP has a chance at Apostle?
I wish your SP were still goth. Maybe that way he could be featured in the "I'm a Mormon" campaign. The druggie thing would probably be harder to pull off as a SP though.Nothing lasts, but nothing is lost.
