I'm thinking if you haven't been an SP by 40-45 you are probably not making it to the photo chart.

Ron was never stake president, and now he's the odds-on favorite to be one of the top 15 highest paid church members.

            Already been decided guys... http://forum.newordermormon.org/view...hp?f=1&t=43775

John Dehlin just shared the following on Facebook about a Reddit post claiming inside knowledge of potential Perry replacements:

"Total speculation alert: An alleged inside source claims that the following three LDS GA's are being considered to replace L. Tom Perry as apostle:

            James J. Hamula: https://www.lds.org/church/leader/james ... a?lang=eng
            Ronald A. Rasband: https://www.lds.org/church/leader/ronal ... d?lang=eng
            L. Whitney Clayton: https://www.lds.org/church/leader/l-whi ... n?lang=eng

The source says that Clayton is the least likely of the three, given some unspecified baggage that he carries.

I cannot vouch for the source in any way, so this is total and complete rumor/speculation....but from the info I have...it seems at least plausible.

Of course changes in the process could be made once information like this gets leaked (if it's credible)...but regardless, it's fun to think about."

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Dammit, I thought you were my outside help. I wonder what Nikuman's rates are.

Well, whatever he does, he first leaks it to reliable exmos to post on Reddit.

It probably goes without saying, but if you're not at least in the bishopric by your 30's the odds are long also. Note that you don't have to TS Monson it, but your bishopric experience needs to be higher than Exec sec or clerk.

Based on history, the change above seems more accurate.

dammit. I was well on my way, until I was kicked off CB, and forced to come here started hanging around certain undesirables.

I probably wouldn't have been a good fit anyway.
