I don't know. I'm doing retirement planning while I listen on KSL.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

      • Elder Causee's voice strongly reminds me of the Bond villain in Skyfall.

His tie looked like the Harvard tie from trading places, it made me wonder if he was trolling SoonerCoug.

              • Yikes, Holland with Adam and Eve are literal beings, no human death in earth pre fall, and he doesn't know what happened pre Adam.

Take that science and DNA and logic!

I wonder what his talks are like when he goes to other conferences during the year. My guess is that he uses the topics and stories most meaningful to him for General Conference, so he's more emotional than he usually is during the rest of the year.
                  Not that, sickos.

Seriously. Conference was good to this point, this talk is ridiculous.

                    My ratings so far:
                    Monson - 6
                    Primary president- 9
                    Texeira - 7
Other dude on prodigal son - 8
                    Holland - 2
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

He spoke to us in a Stake Conference in Springville years ago when our stake was split. I don't remember specifically what he was like other than it was a good meeting, and he gave an inspiring talk.

The dude has been a disaster since day 1, his inaugural presser:

                            • Holland is puzzling. Seemingly from nowhere and for no reason, he doubles down on Garden of Eden literalism. High risk, low reward. Loved the story he opened with, though. He's a guy I usually love when he's not grinding on ProgMo's.

                                I'm a better person.
