        It hasn't gone anywhere.

        My lower case lol has a very specific connotation and cardiac's post did not merit such. Prior recipients of the lol can testify.

                haha is sort of like a casual "knock it off that was funny," which is different than a lower-case lol.

                            'scuuuse me, if I just want to break out of my asberger-esque understanding of social contexts! I don't think that there is anything wrong with clarifying communication, even though I know that you lawyers are more comfy with obfuscating it.
