A little help from y'all, if you're willing. I seem to remember a GA--I think President Monson--telling a story about visiting a former church leader in the hospital. The man was starting to lose his mental capacity, and when he saw President Monson come into the room, he thanked him for coming, asked him to sit down, and then proceeded to conduct an imaginary stake conference meeting from his hospital bed (with just the two of them there). He even invited Monson to speak, which he did. Monson used the story as an illustration of the purity of the man's heart, that in his moment of lost lucidity he was focused on church service.
I might have the details wrong--may have not been President Monson, for example--but I'm sure of the gist of the story. Trouble is, I can't locate it anywhere. Anyone remember this ditty, and know where I might find the original telling?
Thanks,
Tex
