I hate that line in just about every context.

I dont understand someone who leaves mormonism over this then converts to be a christian, or buddhist, or muslim, or jew. Most every god-pantheon is headed by a male. The only non-hypocritical stance is to become an atheist.
        omg she's becoming a "Christian"?

Actually, I think she could non-hypocritically become a Buddhist, Reformed Jew or Anglican/Episcopalian. The latter two allow female clergy and Christ is quite asexual you have to admit. Buddhism doesn't have a patriarchy or hierarchy, really, and Buddha as well is asexual.

        • I wasn't sure but I've confirmed that Buddhism has female monks. There are no Buddhist clergy other than monks.

                      • But Buddha was male. Since the god revered by buddhists is male, females will always be considered second class citizens.

Also, identifying the bishopric counselors is not fair to them as they likely have no say in this matter at all until the council is convened. In fact, most times the bishopric counselors don't know who the accused is until a briefing that is given by the bishop directly before the accused is brought into the bishop's office.

Identifying personal details of the accusers (employer, political contributions)? At best it's petty and at worst it's a call to see if she can damage them in their own personal lives.
Yes. It seems less about petty and more about threatening.

It's one thing to know who a person is, another to truly know the person.

That was a good read. I was wondering if the author was Mormon and clicked on her name to reveal she is part of OW.
