Have you seen Carlos Saura's La caza? I only ask because the rabbit hunt filmed therein was done a long time ago and I wonder how you would feel about stuff that happened before it became a faux pas.

Also, how do you feel about Spanish bullfighting? Did the recent film 300 strike you as a pornographic depiction of violence?

I didn't see 300, but if it depicted stylized violence similar to that depicted in Kill Bill, then I wouldn't have a problem with it. Violence is exciting and titillating. That is why there is so much of it in popular media. I haven't seen La Caza, but I'm not against hunting or meat eating, and depicting either (hunting or meat eating) does not rise to a personal level of animal cruelty to set off any alarms. I've been to one bull fight, and that definitely set off alarms for me. Bleeding an animal to the point of physical exhaustion and then killing it swiftly, if the torero is lucky, seemed like a sick form of public amusement.

Since it stars some pornstress 'named' Sasha Gray who normally takes money for having sex 'legally' playing the role of someone who has sex for money 'illegally' does it cross a line......does it help the 70's dream of taking porn mainstream.....is it going to be in your Netflix queue? Is this just really high-quality porn because Soderbergh has lots of money?

Just asking because I just read a review of the film and it reminded me of this thread.

That must have been a strange review you read if it caused you to wonder whether this was "just really high quality porn." It is neither porn nor high quality. The movie has no script, was shot on a tiny budget over a very short period of time, contains no sex, and has only one scene containing nudity, and in said scene shadows obscure most of it.

Also, it sucked. Sooooo boring. It could have used some sex.

Porn doesn't have to have nudity or sex to be porn....the fact that if left you frustrated qualifies it, in my book.

I sure hope your Spanish reading comprehension is better than your English. You've really been having problems lately. Also, your definition of porn is retarded.

Aren't you supposed to be in bed dreaming about the always-hinted-at-but-never-acquiesced-to-by-your-porn-star-looking-girlfriend threesome?

Oh, and my definition of porn is over-proofed.

I realize that your sex life sucks, but spoofing mine just makes you look pathetic.

If frustration is all it takes, that might explain why Babs' and my exchange in the thread left me feeling so... dirty.

Clearly.......and bragging about what-ifs makes you seem so noble.

I've been under the assumption that you've been engaging in willful misunderstanding in order for you to be able to lay bare your insecurities. Perhaps I was too generous.

I've been under the assumption that you were a preening self-aggrandizing trending-towards-misanthropic jerkface; I wasn't nearly generous enough. You're clever with the words though, I'll give you that.

No I will not make out with you. Did ya hear that? woot wants to make out with me in the middle of class. You got Chlorophyll Man up there talking about God knows what and all he can talk about is making out with me. I'm here to learn, everybody, not to make out with you. Go on with the chlorophyll.

While I've bordered on misanthropic in the past, I am now about as happy as anyone in the world has any right to be and am really positive about life and everything in it. I guess I just don't appreciate having my words twisted.

Oh come off it! How the hell am I 'twisting' your words, little boy?

Regardless, my current partner compares very favorably with any of the women that we sometimes view together, as does the experience which often follows..
Here you disparage the women of porn for being overly-made up and having 'enormous falsies' while simultaneously comparing your current partner's resemblance to them both in looks and in 'performance.'

My partner and I have discussed the possibility of inviting others into our activities (Maybe someday, but I think we agree that it's too emotionally risky, although she did point out one of her friends to me last night with a nudge and a wink), but I think any kind of affair without this kind of consent has no place in a committed relationship and is likely to destroy trust. I know I would find it very difficult to stay in the relationship were I to discover infidelity, and I assume she feels the same. Perhaps I'm not the most liberal among us on this issue after all.

I couldn't find it in a quick search where you called out D-hole's comfort with his own sexuality. You claim that I don't have a satisfying sex life. You seem to be a self-annointed font of knowledge about sex and porn. No one's buying your schtick. And no one twisted your words; you did it yourself.

Listen, you insecure little prick. If you are not capable of an honest reading of my words, then kindly fuck off. If "compare favorably" means to "resemble," and if "I think it's too risky" means that I "anticipate it excitedly" then you just don't understand English. That's only the beginning, of course. It seems to be your only debating technique to slightly twist people's words in order to make them into something you can respond to. Well, that and boring people to death with Borges, whose cock seems to be permanently attached to the back of your throat. I didn't mean for this to get uncivil, but when a fat, boil-faced, arrogant, deluded, blowhard starts making unfounded and completely juvenile accusations it gets my goat a bit.
