1:00 pm church starts tomorrow...

When we lived in Pittsburg the student ward always wanted to start at 2:00 so we always had 10:00. That was nice.

The SA ward in our building always meets at 1:00. The two other wards switch between 9:00 and 11:00. This year we are at 11:00 which will increase our attendances. 9:00 sucks it interferes with our 5 month old's naptime.

I think I recall the family telling me they switch to the 11am meeting this year. One thing I can tell you that I hate about this time of year is how packed the gym is, even on Sundays. Can't wait for everybody to blow their New Year's resolutions.

I guess no one does the Priesthood RS first and other ward do Sacrament meeting first. Our building two wards meeting in it used to do it that way than Stake said one ward 9 other 11, and didn't change this year. We have 11, For people with chores need to get up a little earlier.

I whined a lot at the start of last year when we our ward changed to a 1 PM kickoff, after my family moved wards and got the true and living 9 AM for half the year I decided I was going to be positive about 1 PM and not whine this year. 1 week in and my resolution is still good!

When we are on this schedule we do these big, glorious breakfasts on Sunday morning. Waffles, fruit, whipped cream, eggs, bacon, sausage, omelets, muffins from scratch, german pancakes, etc.

grape, Saturday is a special day. It's the day to get ready for Sunday. I have faith that if you do your chores late on Saturday and then don't do them again until early on Monday, the Lord will bless you for preserving the sanctity of the Sabbath.

9:00 church today, and Sacrament Meeting only after last week's ward/stake changes!

At least I'm pretty sure it's only SM. The HPGL mentioned it in an email on another topic this week. I haven't received anything more official saying that it is only the first hour, but based on his email I am just planning on leaving after the first hour regardless. I have an important event to get to by 1:05.

I HATE that the NFL does the Saturday playoff games at 1 PM and 5 PM, then on Sunday says "Who wants prime time games? That would be idiotic" so goes to the regular 10 AM and 1 PM times. It is almost as if they are catering to the Seventh Day Adventists, I'm starting to think there is a massive conspiracy.
