Why do people assume that pardons or commutations are bad things? Due to the War on Drugs, mandatory minimum sentencing, etc. we have tons of citizens locked up on ridiculous charges and/or sentences grossly disproportionate to the crimes involved. Obama needs to get busy.

He was a third year law student my first year of law school. One of the smartest people around and super nice too. Whatever people think of the people on trial, I find it disturbing that he was tased and arrested for asking to see documentation.

Trump has turned me into a Glenn Beck fan.

While I admire Beck for his current honesty, he seems emotionally fragile. It was just a few months ago he was praying and fasting for Cruz, and fearing for the future of the country. And now he is remorseful for how he treated Obama.

Maybe it's just because he wears his heart on his sleeve. But his swings are certainly whiplash-inducing.
