Hmm. If he really wanted a gun fight why didn't he get out of the the vehicle with his gun out? I don't understand why he would get out of his vehicle with all the guns pointed at him and not holding a weapon if he truly wanted to go out in a blaze of glory. I wish there was audio for both stops. Always fascinating how people see what they want to see. I have seen multiple posts tonight about how the video confirms that the guy had his hands up when he was shot.
The theory is apparently that he lowered his hand and grabbed his side after he was first shot. Yeah, I can't imagine what is up for debate at this point. This is not an unarmed innocent black kid or a 12-yr-old with a toy gun. This is a guy with an expressed interest in engaging in a shootout rather than surrendering. He just resisted arrest and went on a high speed chase. He has a weapon, he refuses to get down, and refuses to keep his hands up. How on earth do you second guess the cops in a situation like this?
