No word about it over here.

Seriously, if the Church is serious about making this a success then people should be told to rent out an entire theater and watch it instead of church.

If the church is serious about making this a "success" (in terms of lots of people watching it) then they should have just given it to Netflix, Amazon, youtube, etc. to distribute (i.e. instantly make it widely available to as many people as possible) and then use social media to promote it. I am guessing the main reason they are showing this in theaters is to try to recover the cost of making the movie.

I didn't hear a thing about it so I am guessing there is not a chance of it being shown in Texas.

Well that's a terrible attitude. Go to meetthemormons.com and find out how to get your local theater to show it right now!

Where do I request they put the movie on bit torrent so I can download it?

I don't think the church wants to proselytize make an informative movie about members available to those illegal file-sharing ruffians on bit torrent...

We got an announcement but no real encouragement to attend other than "it would be a great thing to invite no members to see." My bishop is suspect of the thing anyway so I'm surprised he even made that announcement.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. We just got the plug in EQ from our HC rep. Apparently, a member of the SP handled the duties during sacrament meeting, but I wasn't there. From the information I've heard, it will be showing in two theaters in all of Vegas. In the announcement, they only gave us two theater choices; one being a casino. [emoji33] And not one of the good ones. [emoji35]

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

                        • Yep, SP letter in church today encouraging seeing this in theaters. Apparently the director is in our stake. We'll be down in Orlando that whole week.

Didn't realize you'd moved to SA. My company just opened a new office in SA, and I'm secretly angling for a transfer.
