  • We were told it is important to get it on Netflix. I won't be going, I'll buy some tickets and contribute though.

Which is interesting because I've been told that Netflix can be a gateway to pornography.

From the information I've heard, it will be showing in two theaters in all of Vegas. In the announcement, they only gave us two theater choices; one being a casino. Sams Town (run down casino), Texas Station (run down casino), Village Square (new in 1996, not so much today), Town Square (new, but way south of town) and a multiplex that hasnt been relevant since 1995. Not exactly hitting the top drawer screens. Of course all the best screens in town are in relatively upscale casinos, so there is.that conflict.

I've met lots of Mormons in relatively upscale casinos. There the ones ordering Cokes instead of cubalibres.

Nice... Do it! SA is rad.

I am guessing the main reason they are showing this in theaters is to try to recover the cost of making the movie.

I didn't hear a thing about it so I am guessing there is not a chance of it being shown in Texas.

                    • They haven't mentioned it in Sac yet. No clue about any of the other meetings tho. I saw on the news the other day that carol Nikita or whatever her name is went last week to a sneak preview.

                        • They told us in Primary today that if it sold out the first Friday and Saturday, the theater promised to show it one more weekend. Sounds like some of the promises I make my kids.

                          • It's playing next weekend at the cineplex we patronize pretty much weekly, but I'm looking forward to seeing Gone Girl instead.

Hmm... a PG rating. My family only watches movies with a G rating.

                                Literal lol.

I asked if it would be appropriate for the EQ to take in a Sunday showing, as I felt it might reflect badly on the church with theaters to have all day Sunday with nobody buying tickets for any showings.
