I have a present for you. One of my favorite LDS sermons ever. Maybe the best part is: "We have to draw a distinction between women who work outside the home because they have to, and women who do it because they want to. Ladies, those of you who want to, you're wicked, bad mothers!"Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostSatan, our adversary, wants us to fail. He spreads lies as part of his effort to destroy our belief. He slyly suggests that the doubter, the skeptic, the cynic is sophisticated and intelligent, while those who have faith in God and His miracles are naive, blind, or brainwashed.- DFU

That is a great sermon. My favorite part was the emphasis on the importance of making sure we teach principles and commandments in terms of the plan of redemption. Very helpful in some concerns I have had about helping my children with some of their obedience struggles. Using Priesthood to keep a woman in check, sounds like either unrighteousness dominion or the claims about oppression of women in the church are true.Originally posted by old_gregg View Postrighteous exercise of priesthood authority usually works for meAs I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

You just don't understand. The oppression is what makes them so great.
