Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

True. It's likely a consequence of so many children born out of wedlock and raised by single mothers these days.

      • Bednar is ranked way too high in that list. Mormonism is even more totally screwed if he lives long enough to become prophet.

Who was the last apostle to die from cancer?

            I agree with you.

Chances are he'll have a nice long run.

If you don't mind me saying so, I find the discussion on when we can expect each general authority to die somewhat distasteful.

Wasn't that more a discussion on how long they are expected to live?

No way Packer lives four more years.
I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

                      I couldn't agree more. It's ghoulish.

Oh come on. Are you telling me you haven't speculated who's next in line? I've heard this conversation dozens of times. Death and seniority are how the prophet is chosen. If that talk is distasteful, blame the system.

Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

You stand to inherit something from your parents when they die, I assume. Do you have any actuarial tables prepared to help you anticipate their projected demise? (If you think eagerly looking forward to the day dad croaks is distasteful, don't blame me-- it's just the way estate laws are set up. Blame the system.)

                            • No one should be offended...those are only draft tables.
