Maybe it is a remake of the 1969 version (the Gordon Jump version) and they added back in the stuff that was cut out in 1990.

It appears to me they slowed things down for more dramatic emphasis and emotion.

The last thing I wanted was to extend the time required to attend the temple, but like I said before, I liked it.
One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.
