I just read her farewell talk. It was very inspiring. Because it would be weird for a random 40+ stranger to email her, tell her thanks for me.Originally posted by swampfrog View PostI'm not sure how all of her different traits coexists peacefully in her mind, but my daughter is somehow managing it all successfully.

Did they at least let her watch Netflix? Was she still under all the missionary rules? I would go insane.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostWe have a friend who is a nurse at the MTC. Last year they had a sister missionary come in from a foreign country who tested positive for leprosy. She was in quarantine in the MTC for nine months. Can you imagine?

I once had a cousin "go away" for 9 months. Never considered Leprosy as the problem.

FIFY.Originally posted by Moliere View PostYou'd think a quick PH blessing and modern anti-leprosy drugs would have done the trick. Must be people with little faith at the mtc
I am guessing that this sister was maybe in the MTC around the same time as "illuminated" of St George, UT was there. Maybe that explains it.
