No it's because you didn't have to deal with the internet

Anybody follow this Martinich guy? He's pretty obsessed about church demographics, and it seems like he has some Pelagius-level statistics chops. Anyways, in response to the falling church growth rate, he published his proposals to help the missionary program. It's interesting, though when PFS talked to the managing director of the missionary program about it, he didn't seem too gung ho about his ideas.

And here's a tidbit that some of us discussed a few years back in this thread: the ratio of converts per missionary has fallen to 3.5. It was 6-8 in the 70-80's.

Sister missionaries serving for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints now have the option to wear pants during regular missionary activities — including during normal training activities at missionary training centers.

The First Presidency updated the missionary dress and grooming guidelines for sister missionaries in a letter sent to local Church leaders dated Dec. 20, 2018.

My niece just got into Taipei about a month or so ago. She loves it.

Just some gossip with some of my friends in lower leadership, i.e., nothing above stake level. They love having the ladies out there so they may be more effective remaining another six.

That is fantastic btw. Does she know any Mandarin? What a fantastic place to go and see.

Is it true that they are thinking of lengthening the missions for ladies from 18 months to 2 years?
