It seems like you are saying that it's no ones fault when a young person is taught to feel shame and guilt about something that is normal and healthy. Maybe I'm not understanding the point you are trying to make.

The posters weren't talking about something normal and healthy. They were talking about addiction.

Addiction is often an unhealthy relationship with something healthy, like sex or food. Unhealthy attitudes about healthy, normal things only exasperate the problem.

Mmm, I thought they were saying it is not helpful to call things addictions which aren't. I could be wrong.

            I don't think so. You can't really exasperate a healthy non-addiction.

You can exasperate your non-healthy view of otherwise healthy things

You can exasperate a librarian with that usage of exasperate, however.

I feel bad that she felt like she had to apologize. The emotional abuse of LDS Psychologists that choose not to take a stand on particular issues needs to stop.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I agree. Those that feel guilt and shame and are emotionally affected are weak.

The strong ones just blow off the messages and actually have a good laugh about them on their way home from church.

Before sarcastically posting about them online with a smug self-satisfaction.

You are exasperated that you exacerbated the problem created by addiction?
