As a side note, that might be the worst written article I've ever read.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. Can any of you please help a brother out w his reading comprehension?
"The GCA church softball league is intended for fellowship among Christian churches. Not for members of different faiths. To call a group who proclaims a different gospel of salvation of Christian church is not only untrue, it is unloving. We cannot do this. We will not do this."
W.T.F. does this mean? I can't make heads or tails of it."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"

The comparison is that we have non members play ward basketball just not having their own teams.Originally posted by Moliere View Post...and gay men have the same marriage rights as everyone else right now.....as long as they marry women, so everything is equal

I already addressed that. We don't have open enrollment of teams. Instead, our teams are assigned by geographical location. Non-Mos can play on the team within their assigned geographical location.Originally posted by Mormon Red Death View PostThe comparison is that we have non members play ward basketball just not having their own teams."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. Thanks, Terrence Mann.Originally posted by YOhio View PostThe Grove City Area Church softball league should be allowed to condition participation on any criteria of their choosing. In my Minnesota ward we won our regional volleyball tournament by fielding a team with 3 non-members from the varsity basketball team. Rules prohibited more than 3 non-mos on the court at the same time and if any of the 3 had played on a varsity volleyball team they couldn't have played. Forturnately our school didn't field a volleyball team.Originally posted by Moliere View PostI already addressed that. We don't have open enrollment of teams. Our stake basketball season just ended a couple of months ago.
