The article points to the LDS church changing policy/receiving revelation on polygamy and black/priesthood as a model for Eric Fehrnstrom's (a Romney' adviser) "Etch-a-Sketch" comment about shaking it up and starting over, making the point that Romney's willingness to adapt might be linked to the LDS church's ability to change in the face of popular pressure.
Hmm. Is this article a positive or not? Pro-Romney = good, but so many lies about the church wilting in the face of secular morality! The truth of God would never kowtow to the forces of Mammon!

Something tells me this is not how the church wants to be seen on these issues.

We voted for Obama. I'm not Romney's cousin. I'm a lifelong democrat and I'm voting for Romney.

If you were really related to Romney, you would have changed your position by now.

I think if you go back through my posts carefully, you'll find at least one post where I said I was going to vote for Romney.

                        You're not a real Mormon.

It would be better if it said: "I'm Mitt Rmoney's 2nd cousin, and I'm writing in Ron Paul."

I came to a similar conclusion months ago. Romney's flip-flopping fits right into the classic argument that Mormons talk out of both sides of their mouths.

What politician doesn't flip flop? Come on, name one?

I assume you can then label it fits the classic argument that, Catholics, Evangelicals, Muslims, Atheists and Jews all talk out both sides of their mouths.

Romney's dad didn't talk out both sides of his mouth. Maybe he learned from him you can't survive in big time politics by doing so.
