I love my mother and father more than God. It's not even close.

Much appreciated. I feel like I was thinking these thoughts and went to type them and there you were.

you are still the biggest pussy on this board and it's even worse that you try to justify it by saying backhanded things about LDS doctrine. Keep justifying your private little forms of apostasy by using relativism and "nuance." Those are great terms. Dissension is not sedition. wow-- keep the revolution alive, slugger.
Technically, my "little forms" would be heresy, not apostasy.

The Lakers lost to the Bulls in the Finals while I was out, Magic revealed that he had HIV, and the 80s Lakers dynasty came to an official close.

In a way, I was really happy to not witness any of it.

I did come home in time to see the Lakers play the Suns in the playoffs. The Lakers go up 2-0 against the overwhelming favorites and head back to LA to play the next 2. The Suns proceed to sweep the next 3. AC Green and James Worthy get into a fight on the court. Horrible.

Let me just say that the desire to call home or catch up with relatives is not always a function of homesickness, per se. My brother became engaged while I was on my mission. My older sister had her second baby girl. My younger sister graduated high school. Lots of stuff where it would have been nice to check in once a month to see what was up. And also to share cool experiences with everyone else.

If that makes wuap an oversized vag, then I will happily join him as one that apparently suffers from the same hermaphroditic condition.

"He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me"
Fuck off. I didn't love them more than God........the rule varies from mission to mission, so it's not some kind of commandment....it's up to the capriciousness of the mission president and what he feels works best. My two MPs had different rules. I was able to call home, but I feel for those who couldn't. It's a tradition. Dissension is not sedition, but I wouldn't expect a dolt like you to understand nuance.

As I've said before, my wife made a pair of earrings out of my balls and wears them to Church to show people who's boss, but I don't think they look good. Small earrings are much better.

If we're going ad hominem here, I have a sneaking suspicion that says you make nervous jokes about homosexuals.
